Women hacking to save women

As I type this, women from Kenya to Australia to Brazil to the United States are taking part in a three day women-only hackathon and creating tech solutions to combat human trafficking. I love this intersection! Supporting women in the tech field while also creating real solutions for three NGOs. The primary beneficiaries of these tech solutions will be women and girls (although men and boys are also trafficked and sadly often forgotten). What types of things do you think they will come up with?

About Clare

I am a social worker who lives abroad, moves every couple of years with my daughter and my pup, works in development, loves food and taking pictures, and writes for fun and for friends back home. Home being the many places I have lived and those I have left behind with each move. All opinions expressed here are my own and not that of my employer.
