Honorary Degree- Shame on you Wash U!

Yesterday, Washington University gave an honorary degree to Phylis Shalafly; students protested.

While I respect that every one has a freedom of speech and a freedom to share their opinion, I am saddened that my alma matter saw it fit to bestow her with an honorary degree. I am, however, heartened by the number of students that got involved in the protest wore white arm bands, and silently turned away as she received her hood.
