1. I am on the way to pick up my sister and her family from the airport. Yay!
2. My parent’s best friend’s sons are practically my brothers. Or, at least, I have always thought of them this way. One graduated in the not hugely recent past from Northern Illinois University. Needless to say, when I read about yesterday’s shooting, I was left speechless. I still am.
